Correct identification of a fish health problem is essential. Similar symptoms may result from water-quality stress, parasites, bacterial disease, injury, or environmental conditions.
Directions and Dosage
- Condition aquarium water before treatment.
- Use 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gallons of water and repeat after 24 hours.
- Complete a partial water change between treatments and continue the bath for up to 3 days.
- Do not exceed 3 treatments. After treatment, perform a 50% water change and run fresh activated carbon for 3 days.
- For food use, mix 2 teaspoons per pound of thawed frozen food, refreeze flat, and feed once daily for 10 days.
Important Treatment Guidance
Use only in ornamental aquarium or ornamental pond systems. Closely monitor fish behavior and water quality throughout treatment.
- Test water quality before and during treatment, including ammonia and nitrite.
- Use a dedicated hospital or quarantine tank whenever practical.
- Remove or pause chemical filtration and other equipment only when the product directions require it.
- Observe fish closely and discontinue use if unexpected stress or adverse reactions occur.
- Store tightly closed, away from children, moisture, heat, and bright light.
